This British ad for Hertz starts out like your typical commercial tear-jerker. A mom and dad help their son pack up the last of his things in a moving van and say a teary farewell as he departs to start a life of his own.

But when they go back inside to brood over a "cuppa," they discover their home is not as it used to be, and every prized possession -- the tea kettle, the coat rack, the satellite dish, the family pet and even the plant grow bags -- is now gone too.

The tag explains: "You can take everything with Hertz Van Rental. Sorry."

The online ad was created out of Adam & Eve/DDB London and directed by Smuggler's Guy Shelmerdine.
