Burger chain Jack in the Box is running a regional Super Bowl ad in which its mascot -- a giant "Jack" -- appears as a founding father on an epic journey.

The spot, by agency David & Goliath, shows Jack reading a "Declaration of Delicious" as his boat lands approaches American shores. There, he finds someone who seems to be a modern native Californian, in running gear with a smartphone strapped to his arm.

At the end, the ad, promoting the chain's Double Jack Burger, is revealed to have been narrated by an American bald eagle.

The spot was directed by Caviar L.A.'s Ruben Fleischer.
