Facebook Portal helps Leslie Jones and Rebel Wilson enjoy the lunacy of the holidays
Stars rely on the device to enhance their merry-making in campaign from TBWA/Chiat/Day New York

Celebrating in virtual world sucks. No hugs, no kisses, no clinking of glasses. But a holiday campaign starring Leslie Jones and Rebel Wilson shows how we can bring back a little bit of the intimacy (and lunacy) of the season with the help of Facebook's visual communications device Portal.
The multi-spot effort from TBWA/Chiat/Day New York hinges on familiar festive activities: happy hour-ing, baking, decorating, glamming. In the domains of these funny ladies such traditions make for hilarious antics.
In one spot (above) Jones pulls her posse into a Portal dance party, but within seconds reveals how much she needs to be upping her cardio game.
In another, she shows how, as in real life, gifting on Portal can be awkward too.
Wilson leads a holiday baking session with loved ones (including her own sister in one window). But as she kneads her dough, her mind wanders to those kinds of places Wilson is famous for drifting off to.
In another spot, Portal lets Wilson and her friends decorate their respective homes together.
She gets feedback on her holiday outfit in yet another scenario.
The campaign was directed by Jody Hill and Maggie Carey via Caviar. It will be running throughout the holiday season.
