Thought you could escape the Jeremy Allen White/Calvin Klein vortex?

Not so fast, because German brewer BRLO has arrived—fashionably late—with its own spoof. And even if it wasn’t executed at Away-like speed, it’s still a doozy.

In place of Mr. White, we get a rotund, hirsute ginger who strips down to his ample tighty-whities (perhaps having borrowed them from the Away suitcase) and prowls the rooftop with aplomb.

What’s the ad actually for? Well, you have to wait until the end.

The non-alcoholic beer being promoted here is BRLO Naked—that’s the admittedly flimsy tie-in. Still, the spot—by Deloitte Digital and pulloverfilms director Charley Stadler—in very entertaining regardless, with its Southern Comfort-like main character and sultry soundtrack.

Presumably no one is going to want that couch, though, even if it pops up on Facebook Marketplace.
