IKEA mixes Braveheart and interior design in this thunderous new spot from The Monkeys, formerly known as Three Drunk Monkeys.
The spot is the first part of a new brand platform, called "Have a Go," which encourages customers to take charge and fight against humdrum interior design. The spot stars some actual real-life IKEA customers, chosen after the agency sent out an open casting call to the brand's fans.
An accompanying page on the IKEA Australia website also lets customers "Have a Go" with various shopping tools and products. More executions in online, outdoor, print and television will roll out over the next few months, leading up to the grand opening of the new IKEA store in Melbourne in September.
