Strangely Beautiful: Watch Bubbles Freeze in High Def in This Spot for Sony's 4K TVs
U.K. Ad Is Set to a Cover Version of Rihanna's 'Diamonds'

Sony sets out to capture the strange beauty of bubbles freezing in this spot out of Adam & Eve/DDB London promoting Sony Bravia 4K Ultra HD TVs. Directed by Leila and Damien de Blinkk, it was filmed in 4K (which has four times the detail of normal HD) in the Canadian forests near Whistler, and shows crystal-like structures of ice forming patterns across the surface of the bubbles before they shatter. It's set to a cover version of Rihanna's "Diamonds" sung by Josef Salvat.
As with previous 4K ads for the likes of Samsung, the viewer can only experience the true Ultra HD picture by viewing it on a 4K TV. But it's beautiful enough to make you want to go and watch it on a 4K TV in a store, even if you aren't planning on buying one.
