Chevrolet Says Happy 4G of July! That's Not a Typo.
The Auto Brand Introduces First 4G-Enabled Cars
Editor's Pick
Chevrolet has tapped Commonwealth/McCann in Detroit to promote its new generation of 4G LTE and Wi-Fi ready cars. While the idea of connectivity spreading to the car may overwhelm or make some nervous, the spot released yesterday takes a sentimental approach. Here, a road trip is presented in two parts-- one presents the techy aspect, including research and web assistance, the other shows the resulting experiences.
The campaign is set to launch this week, right in time for the Fourth of July and will be providing free internet at the Philadelphia firework show at Chevrolet displays around Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Ads will also be running on television, at movie theaters and in GoGo Wi-Fi enabled flights.
