Right after the Miami Heat and LeBron James won the title at the NBA Finals last night, Nike Basketball aired this ad, which showed the intertwined fates of the NBA championship ring's maker and the basketball star. James' Akron afro days, Cavaliers wins, his 2010 decision and his time with the Heat are interspersed with the Ring Maker cutting and splicing to create the ring. Because even though James' was destined from greatness, he still had to earn it.
