Swedish auction company Göteborgs Auktionsverk found a novel way of finding valuable antiques for its auctions. It got an antiques expert to scan Hemnet.se, Sweden's version of Craiglist, for properties for sale, then zoomed in on antiques that looked interesting. When he found something, agency Milk downloaded the image, circled the interesting item, put it on a postcard and sent it to the homeowners, asking if they wanted to sell more than just their house.
