Vinnie Jones Invents Energy Powered by Anger in Latest U.K. Lotto Spot
Biscuit's Jeff Low Directs Latest 'PleaseNotThem' Ad
Editor's Pick
Actor, former soccer player and professional tough guy Vinnie Jones is the latest celebrity to star in an ad for U.K. Lotto operator Camelot, part of its ongoing series urging people to buy a ticket if only to stop famous people from carrying out awful plans.
The launch spot featured Piers Morgan wanting to have his own theme park, and now in the fifth spot, Jones explains how he's created a machine, the "Agro-Tron," that he believes has the capability to turn people's anger into electricity. Of course, he's banking on a Lotto win to take the "Agro-Tron" nationwide, in order to generate and capture as much anger as possible. Once again, the tagline is "PleaseNotThem," and as part of the campaign there will be reactions from celebrities on Twitter who are opposed to his horrendous plan.
The ongoing series is by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, and this spot was directed by Biscuit's Jeff Low.
