180 Amsterdam lifts the veil on the Sony PSP successor the Playstation Vita with this new trailer featuring head-on vignettes of gamers--clearly referencing the famous Frank Budgen-directed "Double Life" spot for the Playstation 2. But the message here is decidedly different. While "Double Life" was all about escapism, and the exciting worlds gamers could explore alone, outside of their "normal" lives, this new spot, directed by Independent's Cary Fukunaga (Sin Nombre, Jane Eyre) is all about the social aspect and the massive world of gameplay afforded by the device. "The World is in Play," the tag reads. The Vita is set to arrive in the U.K. on February 22.
