One Laptop Per Child and Fuseproject have released their latest kid-friendly device, the XO tablet. The device, which will be available at Walmart stores for $150 this week, is centered around the idea of "dreams" and organizes its content around topics, versus apps. The device launches with the simple opening sentence "I want to be an. . ." before users can dive into the 100 preloadedgames,apps and books stored within. The seven-inch device, manufactured by Vivitar,runs the Android OS in both English and Spanish. OLPC teamed with media education nonprofit Common Sense Media on the content curation.
