Dunkin’s Super Bowl ad stars Ben Affleck, Tom Brady and Matt Damon singing for J Lo

Dunkin’ returned to the Super Bowl with another commercial featuring Ben Affleck and his wife Jennifer Lopez—this time with cameos from Tom Brady, Matt Damon, Jack Harlow and Fat Joe. “The DunKings,” a 60-second ad that ran in the second quarter, uses the stars to introduce a new limited-time menu. Affleck is shown trying to break into the music industry. The spot is from Artists Equity, the production studio that Affleck runs with Matt Damon. Affleck and Damon, both Boston natives, are longtime friends, and Brady, of course, has Boston ties after his years as the star quarterback for the New England Patriots. Their Boston ties versus J Lo’s Bronx, New York, roots make for some humorous banter. But it’s Damon who delivers perhaps the ad’s most memorable line: “How do you like them donuts?” The spot plugs a new DunKings menu, available nationwide tomorrow for a limited time. The menu will feature the DunKings Iced Coffee, which is Affleck’s order of an iced coffee with vanilla and cream, topped with sweet cold foam and cinnamon sugar, and has a new pairing of an iced coffee with a Munchkins skewer. In the app, customers can order the Everything Encore breakfast sandwich, a Hazelnut Heartthrob iced coffee and a Mixed Berry Beats Refresher. The chain’s Super Bowl appearance was teased last weekend in a commercial that ran during the Grammys where Affleck seeks help from TikTok creator—and Dunkin’ superfan—Charli D’Amelio as he looks into becoming a pop star. Affleck also starred in the chain’s first-ever Super Bowl ad last year, working the drive-thru of a Dunkin’ in Massachusetts. Lopez made a cameo in that ad, pulling up to the window and asking if this is what he does when he says he’s at work. Affleck ends his shift, but not before Lopez tells him to “grab me a glazed.”
