PopCorners is making its Super Bowl debut by reuniting the characters, dialogue, director and set pieces of “Breaking Bad,” 10 years after its final episode.

In the 30-second spot, the show's drug kingpins Jesse Pinkman and Walter White—played by Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, respectively—are reimagined as snack creators. While Jesse is enamored with the taste of PopCorners, Walter reminds him “we don’t eat our own supply.” Later they provide a taste to Tuco Salamanca (Raymond Cruz), who repeats his “Tight, tight, tight!” exclamation from the show—and demands Jesse and Walter make PopCorners in seven varieties, not six.

“PopCorners’ desire to create a genuine extension of the franchise and a campaign that would really excite ‘Breaking Bad’ fans is what brought us back for this Super Bowl commercial,” said Cranston in a press release. “Walt would’ve been immediately drawn to the basic ingredients in PopCorners, so ‘Breaking Good’ made perfect sense as an alternate storyline that would’ve been much better for him and Jesse.”

A tagline stylized with periodic table elements reads “Break into something good,” now in seven flavors.

Original set pieces including the show's RV and Tuco’s wardrobe return for the spot, which was directed by series creator Vince Gilligan.

A 60-second cut of the commercial running online includes more nuggets from the show, including a take on Cranston’s famous “Say my name” line.

The commercial comes from D3, Frito-Lay’s in-house agency, and is the shop's first Super Bowl spot, according to a LinkedIn post from Chris Bellinger, VP of creative ad digital at Frito-Lay parent PepsiCo.

Frito-Lay's Doritos brand will also be running an ad in the Super Bowl, starring musicians Jack Harlow and Missy Elliott.
