Major League Soccer’s new season is right around the corner—the first matches are Feb. 25—and Adidas is getting fans pumped up with art installations in seven cities that could score you a new team jersey.
Above, you can see the giant soccer ball that suddenly appeared at Kiener Plaza in St. Louis. This is St. Louis’s inaugural season in MLS, so the excitement there is getting to be fever pitch.
The installations were made by Jam3. Each one has a QR code fans can scan for a chance to win a personalized jersey, a custom club patch, a $1,000 Adidas gift card, or the grand prize of a one-day Adidas contract to be a professional player.
Adidas has been a sponsor of MLS since its inception. The new fan-centric campaign is themes “Real Knows Real.” See more of the installations below. (The NYC taxicab is particularly fun one.) The clubs will be unveiling their new kits Feb. 15-18.
New York Red Bulls
Los Angeles FC
Atlanta United FC
