The first TV campaign from home design and renovation-focused website Houzz focuses on when you know it's time to redecorate, with some funny, cute ads by BBH LA that reveal the gulf between what you hope your home is like, and what it's really like.

In one spot, seen here, a young mother asks her partner to pass her a mug in the open, airy, minimalist space of their kitchen. Cut to reality, when she's speaking through a wall in a cluttered, gloomy room, and he comically mis-hears. In another ad, a young woman sits her with boyfriend a stylish apartment where they sip mineral water in designer clothes. Again, the reality is quite different.
