Editor's Pick

In a new campaign for skincare treatment brand LPG, a woman lets us know how gorgeous and attractive she is for her age. If only she could tell us herself.

The protagonist is so grotesquely deformed by beauty treatments and plastic surgery that she can't even move her lips. So she has to tell her story via a ventriloquist's dummy made in her own image.

The ad, by French agency Buzzman, and creepily shot by Johnny Green at Gang Films with some horror-film worthy touches, serves as a warning against "unnatural" beauty treatments and instead promotes LPG's skincare therapy. It's running on French TV from next week (May 8) and aims to make women aware that there are "100% natural" alternatives to some of the anti-ageing treatments on offer.

If you're wondering if the agency cast a real plastic surgery addict for the film (because yes, such folks do exist), make-up effects artists were actually behind the actress's appearance, which you can see in the Behind the Scenes film.
