Those watching the Democratic National Convention may have seen Elizabeth Banks using her comedic charm to do her part for Team Blue, calling Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump a copycat version one of her most famous roles. "Some of you know me from 'The Hunger Games, in which I play Effie Trinket -- a cruel, out-of-touch reality TV star who wears insane wigs while delivering long-winded speeches to a violent dystopia," she said. "So when I tuned in to Cleveland last week, I was like, 'Hey! That's my act.'"

But Ms. Banks, whom we know is all about the girl power and is also a talented director and producer, also applied her skills to producing an uplifting twist on Rachel Platten's hit tune "Fight Song." The unofficial DNC anthem was introduced on day two of the convention, following President Bill Clinton's speech.

Ms. Banks opens the video wearing headphones and standing before a mic, announcing, "This is for Hillary." And then a slew of celebrities chime in, frame by frame, to perform a "Pitch Perfect"-inspired and Hillary-themed version of the song. Stars appearing include Ms. Platten herself, Ms. Banks, Mandy Moore, Rob Reiner, Idina Menzel, Jane Fonda, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, America Ferrera, Eva Longoria, John Michael Higgins and many, many more. The video culminates when scenes of all the singing stars get in formation in red, white and blue to create an American flag upon which the Clinton campaign logo emerges.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the idea came about when Ms. Banks and "American Beauty" producer and political activist Bruce Cohen, who had created a film starring Jack Nicholson for Clinton's previous bid, had met at a fundraiser. The two arrived on an idea to create something inspired by "Pitch Perfect" and to create the video, they tapped YouTube a cappella star Mike Tompkins, with whom Ms. Banks had previously worked. See the full story and full list of celebrities in the film in the Hollywood Reporter.
