Wacom : Inkling

August 31, 2011 12:00 AM

Artists and designers who have come to rely heavily on their pen tablets to sketch out their ideas now have a portable solution, with Wacom's new Inkling device. Inkling combines a pressure sensitive pen with a reader that digitally records work drawn onto a normal sketchbook or piece of paper. Sketches are captured stroke by stroke, allowing the data to be translated into layers. Inkling's Sketch Manager software allows users to edit, add or delete layers and export their files into PhotoShop and Illustrator.
