Booking.com Tries to Turn Your New Year's Resolutions Into Reservations
'Resolution Translator' App Promises to Find the Right Trip for You

As well as being the month for making New Year's Resolutions, January is one of the peak times of year to book a vacation. Travel site Booking.com has decided to combine the two with the Resolution Translator, an online and mobile app that "translates" your resolutions.
Simply type in what you want to do in 2016, and the tool suggests a suitable break, although perhaps with a little twist. For example, if you want to get fit, it might suggest a safari in Cape Town to work out those muscles, rather than a running holiday. You can share the result on social media. It's not completely foolproof -- typing in that you want to write a book receives the answer "is napping a hobby too?" -- but it's a fun idea that should at least get you thinking about what kind of vacation you might take this year.
Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam created the campaign, with StinkDigital working on the Resolution Translator. W&K also made a movie-style trailer, seen here, to promote it.
