Digital agency Barbarian has hired a new chief creative officer, Vince Lim, after its previous CCO lasted just a year in the role.
Lim comes to Cheil-backed Barbarian from Argonaut New York, where he was head of creative/executive creative director. He succeeds Tim Wilson, the former Peleton creative director who left Barbarian last month after a year as CCO.
Lim will report to Barbarian CEO Steven Moy, who praised Lim’s breadth of experience, which includes working on the “death of Mr. Peanut” campaign at VaynerMedia before he joined Argonaut and on the “Fearless Girl” campaign at McCann New York before that.
“Vince is a natural creative, innovator and storyteller, which makes him a perfect fit for the kind of bold concepts we ideate and execute for our clients,” said Moy. “Given his track record, I know he will help our clients define their communication, commerce and customer relationship initiatives and accomplish the cultural impact they desire.”
