Styles is a veteran at Spotify, having worked there since 2017 and in her current position since 2021. Previously, she held roles in the communications department at Publicis Media.
The savvy that Styles has cultivated over her career was on full display at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, where Spotify proactively released a study with the World Advertising Research Center (WARC) on how marketers feel about generative AI. The technology, of course, was all anyone could talk about at the event, and Styles ensured that Spotify, which is using generative AI itself, was involved in the conversation.
At Cannes, Styles also coordinated a slate of informative daytime programming focused on creators, capped with roaring nighttime events featuring musical guests Foo Fighters, A$AP Rocky, Jack Harlow and others.
“B2B outreach can be boring, but as a beloved brand, we can be a bit more fun and engaging,” Styles said.
