A girl goes on a magical 3D adventure in an animated world in a new Microsoft holiday spot for Windows that carries a message about inclusion and kindness.

The spot, by M:United/McCann and Blk-Ops, starts in animation with the girl writing on her laptop with her Gabe the Yeti at her side. Then, she's transported into a magical space world alongside a come-to-life Yeti. The pair travel through space collecting an assortment of oddly drawn creatures, all of whom need some kind of love or support, and end up partying with them on a space rock with a disco ball. The film concludes with a live action scene where we see the real life girl on her Surface Book imagining the whole story, and the tagline "Create a better world."

Roman Coppola directed the film via The Directors Bureau directed, while MPC was responsible for the cute animation and VFX; the majority of the characters were inspired by those on Microsoft's Remix 3D, a library and community site for sharing and evolving creations made with Paint 3D or other 3D programs.

"The holiday season is a time for community, inclusion----and imagination," said Kathleen Hall, corporate vice president of brand, advertising and research at Microsoft, in a statement. "Our goal was to bring all of those together and invite people to join us in creating a kinder more inclusive world through the power and magic of 3D."
