If you're stuck for a Father's Day gift, this concept from Brazil sounds like an excellent idea-- even better, perhaps than a hot dog in bed?
For Brazilian cookware company Tramontina, JWT Brazil has created a personalized "signature iron" that allows people to brand their grilled foods with their own name. This gorgeously produced promotional film shows Argentine cook Francis Mallman doing some serious grilling with a tool that the agency fashioned for him; however, consumers can also order one of their own by going to Tramontina's "T store" in Rio de Janeiro (they'll come as a free promotional product if people purchase other barbecue products at the store). The tools have also been sent to chefs including Adam Perry Lang, Wolfgang Puck, Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud and Pat LaFrieda.
The tool is that latest out-there idea from the agency-client team, who last came out with the Bible of Barbecue, a book whose pages were made of ingredients you could use on the grill.
