Kevin Hart Stalks His Daughter's Date in Hyundai's Pre-Kick Big Game Ad
Spot Promotes Auto Brand's Blue Link Car Finder
Editor's Pick
Hyundai's Super Bowl offerings are celebrity-heavy this year -- we've already seen one spot featuring Ryan Reynolds, and now here's another starring comedian-of-the-moment Kevin Hart.
Hart appears as an over-protective dad who gives his daughter's boyfriend the keys to his new Hyundai on their first date. Of course he has a hidden agenda -- using Hyundai's Blue Link Car Finder device to follow their every moment. He pops up (in increasingly ridiculous guises) at the movies, in a fairground, and finally appears dangling from a helicopter as they're about to park and start kissing.
The spot is by Innocean, and was directed by Peter Berg ("Battleship," "Friday Night Lights") of Pony Show Entertainment. It will run in the pre-kick time slot.
