Creative ads today: Burger King, Canva, Coca-Cola, Gatorade

The ads were created by MullenLowe Paraguay and shot by photographer Ale Burset. Canva Lorraine Bracco is a therapist once again in Canva’s fun new spot, in which she leads an intervention for outdated presentations. The work was made in-house. Coca-Cola The soda giant partnered with K-pop band NewJeans on a jeans-themed activation. From March 12-15, an ordinary laundromat in Malaysia will become a “So Fresh So Clean” pop-up experience where the public are invited to bring their old jeans and exchange them for some new jeans—with exclusive RFID patches that unlock personalised messages from the band. The campaign, including the film below, was created by WPP OpenX and led by Ogilvy Singapore. Dirt Is Good The Unilever campaign (inclusive of detergent brands OMO, Persil, Rinso, Skip, Ala and Breeze) continues with an effort where billboards have been turned into play spaces in Turkey to get kids themselves “out of home.” Edelman created the campaign, which includes a soccer goal, a slide and a basketball hoop. Gatorade Latin America The sports drink brand unveiled a new campaign from agency Isla, themed “Dreams,” which celebrates goal-setting not just for pro athletes but for amateurs. Nicolás Pérez Veiga directed the spot. KFC Canada The chain pits its fried chicken against an AI recipe in an entertaining campaign from agency Courage. Milwaukee Bucks The NBA team worked with The Famous Group on an immersive mixed reality activation during its game on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 30-second activation brought the team’s “Fear the Deer” marketing to life ahead of the tip-off. BBDO and Smuggler director Henry-Alex Rubin created the spot. Zevia The sugar-free soda brand parodies Cindy Crawford’s famous 1992 Super Bowl ad, with Jelly Roll taking Crawford’s place, in an amusing spot from Maximum Effort.
