MySpace, Record Companies Unveil Music Service

The popular social networking site MySpace has signed deals with Sony BMG, Universal Music Group and Warner Music for a new joint venture, MySpace Music, TVWeek.com reports. In addition to providing ad-supported audio and video streams, the service will allow fans access to DRM-free digital downloads for purchase, a mobile download store and several sponsorship opportunities.-Sergio Ibarra
