This Mitch McConnell-shaped dildo graphically highlights the Roe v. Wade decision
All proceeds from Dame's limited-edition sex toy will be donated to reproductive healthcare organizations

In protest of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Roe v. Wade and, with it, the constitutional right to safe abortion access, sexual wellness company Dame has crafted a dildo with Sen. Mitch McConnell’s face so Americans can “get f*cked by the government on your terms.”
Available on Dame’s website starting today, the limited-edition “love toy” topped with the Kentucky Republican’s bust was created in conjunction with award-winning small creative agency Mischief @ No Fixed Address.
The dildo—of which 500 were made and is being sold on a first-come, first-served basis—retails on Dame’s site for $80, with “every penny” being directed towards organizations fighting for complete and equitable access to reproductive health services, the company said in a statement.
The phallic toy’s pricepoint is symbolic of the percentage of Americans that independent research firm Gallup has found are in favor of legal abortion, it added. As of this year, the pollster has found that 35% of the U.S. population believe the procedure should be legal nationwide and available on demand, while an additional 50% of the public think it should be legal “only under certain circumstances.” Gallup has also found that a majority of Americans now self-identify as “pro-choice,” data published in May 2022 shows.
“At Dame, we believe our bodies are our own, and it is our choice to do with them as we please. This encompasses everything from pleasure to life-saving healthcare,” said Alexandra Fine, founder and CEO of Dame Products, which is also known for suing for and eventually winning the right to advertise its wares on the New York City subway. “So we wanted to engage in the discourse, raise funds, and have fun doing it,” she said.
It's the latest attention-grabbing stunt from Mischief, the agency that topped the Ad Age A-List this year.
“As an agency, we have used our creativity to support various causes like this one for Dame, but also things like anti-gerrymandering for RepresentUs and environmental sustainability for Eos,” said Bianca Guimaraes, partner and executive creative director at Mischief. Guimaraes noted that the new toy will be promoted via social media in the context of a promotional campaign that will allow the “product’s talkability” to increase awareness of states’ recent efforts to clamp down on abortion access.
