Tubular Labs announces new findings linking QSR brands to Gen Z viewership on social video

A recently published report from Tubular Labs, “Nourishing Relations with Fast Food Diners,” reveals how top-performing quick serve restaurant (QSR) brands are leveraging social video to connect with the Gen Z audience to yield high results.

Fast food continues to be a growing industry. With growth projected at 22% over the next five years, a question among top fast food brands is how they can differentiate themselves across media, and more importantly, how they can engage with Gen Z customers.

Social video viewership of QSR owned and earned content has risen 39% on YouTube in the last two years, according to the report. As brands lean into authentic and relevant conversations with this next wave of customers, it’s vital that brands also build an effective social video content strategy, cultivate the ability to anticipate trends, and stay on the leading edge of innovation.
