Grey Brazil, Sao Paolo's "Corruption Detector"--an app created for client Reclame Aqui that leverages facial recognition to show users the history of Brazilian politicians' corruption--won the Grand Prix for Mobile. The Brazilian government is notoriously corrupt, so this app highlights the faces of politicians accused of lining their own pockets.
Jury president Jay Morgan, innovations director at The Monkeys, said the detector "put the power in the hands of the people."
